How to Throw in Football Fusion 3

No auto-aim. Power in fives. Lead the man, then jump the swat.

How to Throw in Football Fusion 3

Throwing is the hardest skill in Football Fusion 3 on purpose. There is no auto-aim, no lock circle, and no pass that “just finds” a receiver. You pick a direction, you pick a power, and the ball goes there. XSTNS GAMES kept that from the Football Fusion line after the March 2025 NFL DMCA reset the branding. If you cannot dime, play another position until you can. Captains on 14-player servers remember the QB who sailed three outs in a row.

The bind is simple: Left Click on PC, RT on Xbox. Confirm it under Settings → View Controls List, because this wiki will not outrun a patch. The rest of throwing is physics, camera, and honesty about how far 70 power actually travels. Walk the controls page once, then come back here and stay until the wheel makes sense.

The power wheel

Power runs roughly 1 to 95 in steps of five. That is about 19 notches, not a smooth slider you should micro with the mouse every snap. Set a step, throw it ten times, then change the step. Guessing 73 because it “felt deep” is how you underthrow a fade into a safety.

A practical starting map (your server ping and release point will shift this — that is why practice bots exist):

  • 50–60 — screens, hitches, and quick outs. High enough to clear a leaping line, low enough that a late WR can still jump-click.
  • 65–75 — intermediate crosses, comebacks, and many red-zone fades. This is the band you should live in until 95 stops being a panic button.
  • 80–90 — shots down the sideline and far hashes. Lead more than you think. The ball is in the air long enough for a safety to undercut if you aimed at the receiver’s current hip.
  • 95 — the deep nuke. Useful from your own end zone or a go route with a step. Useless as a default, because linemen swat anything you throw from a flat-footed plant at the line of scrimmage.

The power chart is the yard-line version of this list. Use it. Do not invent a new number every drive because a streamer yelled “just put 85 on it.”

QB+ (200 Robux) does not add power. It adds pump-fake and lets you customize how the wheel looks. If you bought it expecting a stronger arm, you bought a cosmetic. Read game passes before you spend again.

Lead the receiver, not the jersey

The ball is thrown at a point in space. If your WR is running across your screen, that point is in front of him, at the height he can jump into. Aiming at the torso you see now is how you throw a pick to the corner sitting in the passing lane.

Leading is a feel you only get from reps:

  • Across the middle, lead toward the far sideline and a hair high so the catch window is above the linebacker’s head.
  • On a fade, lead to the back pylon, not to the WR’s back hip. He is still running.
  • On a comeback, throw to the spot he will sit, not to the stem. Late balls become interceptions.
  • If two receivers occupy the same window, do not throw. Pump (if you have QB+) or eat the sack. A 50/50 ball in this game is a 70/30 for the defense if they can click.

Receivers who understand this will sit, break, or angle for you. Receivers who do not should read how to catch and the wide receiver page. You cannot dime a player who early-clicks at the line.

Jump when you throw deep

Linemen swat. That is their job. A throw released from a standing plant at the line is a gift. Jump as you throw on anything that has to clear the first wave — especially 70-plus power over the middle and any fade from a clean pocket. The extra height is the difference between a swat and a catchable ball.

Jumping is not scrambling. If the pocket is already dead, roll, reset your camera, then throw. A jump-throw while a tackle hits your hips is a fumble with extra steps. The quarterback page covers when to leave the spot; this page is about the release.

Camera and input device

Third person beats first person for quarterbacks. You need to see the edge rusher, the dropping linebacker, and whether your WR actually broke. First person hides all three. Use it in practice if you enjoy suffering, not on 4th and 6.

Controller turns slower than mouse. Compensate by finishing your camera turn before you commit power. If you start a 90-power ball while the stick is still rotating, the ball leaves into the wrong hash. Plant, look, then RT. The video on this page is a controller session for a reason — stick users need to see the pace, not just read “lead them.”

PC users still miss because they click while strafing the opposite direction of the throw. Stop your feet. The ball inherits your mess.

Practice bots before you take a public vote

Settings gear → Teleport to Practice. The practice page is the drill list; this is the throwing loop:

  1. Pick 60 power. Throw 20 balls at a moving bot without changing power. Count how many a WR could reasonably jump-click.
  2. Repeat at 70, 80, and 90. Do not skip 70 because 90 is cooler.
  3. Add a jump to every throw over 70. Watch how many swats disappear.
  4. Move your drop depth. A throw from the 40 is not a throw from the 20. Pair this with the power chart.
  5. Only then queue. Let the lobby vote QB after they have seen you play WR or RB for a game. The Getting Started order exists so you stop demanding the vote cold.

Mobile quarterbacks should also open mobile. Touch aim is a different muscle; the power logic is the same.

What throwing is not

It is not a script. QB aimbot and magnets exist. The anti-cheat bans for 48 hours or permanently. If you are even curious, read QB aimbot and safety so you understand the cost. A banned 99 overall is still banned.

It is not a codes problem. There is no redemption box as of September 2026. Codes will not spawn a better arm.

It is not angling. Angling is a catch technique that needs the Customization pass, graphics 2, and a late click. If your WR cannot angle yet, throw a catchable window at torso height and let them jump-click. Forcing 95-power rainbows at a player who has not learned how to angle is how drives die.

Kicking, for the record, is a different meter. If the lobby voted you kicker, leave the wheel and open how to kick. Do not 95-power a field goal with the throw button.

Dimes come from reps on one power at a time, not from a pass that claims it added strength to your arm. Buy QB+ when you already hit windows and want a fake. Until then, throw 70 at a bot until you are bored, then throw 70 in a game.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Football Fusion 3 questions.

Does QB+ make throws stronger?

No. QB+ adds pump-fake and wheel cosmetics. It does not boost power. Prices are on game passes.

What power should I use?

Start in the 60–75 band, then match yard line with the power chart. 95 is a shot, not a default.

Why do linemen keep swatting me?

You are throwing from a standing plant. Jump on deep balls and give the pocket time. Pocket play is on the quarterback page.

Should I use first person?

No for competitive throws. Third person shows rushers and breaks. Confirm camera while you run practice drills.

Can I practice without ruining a public game?

Yes. Settings → Teleport to Practice, then follow Getting Started before you ask for the QB vote.
